WhiteJar will be at Security Summit, the most important Italian cyber security conference that will open the European Cyber Security Month 2022.

Current cyber risks, new global scenarios and the implications for Italy: this is the theme that brings together managers, professionals and entrepreneurs for the next Security Summit on 4 October at the Crowne Plaza Verona Fiera hotel.

Security Summit conference ideally opens the tenth edition of ECSM, the European Cybersecurity Month, reaffirming its primary objective: sharing a cyber security culture among citizens and businesses.

Starting from the data of the latest Clusit Report – which shows for 2021 an average of five successfully completed serious attacks per day – Gabriele Faggioli, President of Clusit, will introduce the works of the plenary session, in which scenarios and perspectives will be outlined with reference to the area of north-eastern Italy.

This will be followed by a round table discussion moderated by Alessio Pennasilico, Member of the Clusit Scientific Committee, with the involvement of institutions and some of the main players in cyber security.

Among the speakers at the Security Summit will be also Luca Manara, CEO of WhiteJar – powered by UNGUESS, who will talk together with Mauro Cicognini, CD Clusit, about the power of crowd-sourced cybersecurity and the collective intelligence generated by the complementary skills of the ethical hackers of the WhiteJar Community.

The Hacking Film Festival will close the Security Summit: at 6 p.m., the film festival dedicated to films on data theft and digital identities will kick off.
